Lango visits US classrooms

During a recent visit with family in Portland, Oregon, former Chrysalis School student Lango visited a couple of classrooms to meet students and tell them about Madagascar and the Chrysalis School.

Fourth graders at Le Monde French immersion school wondered whether people in Madagascar use pots to cook their food, whether Madagascar has a president and how much money Malagasy parents earn, and French students at Lincoln High School asked questions about women’s rights and the Malagasy education system.

We hope these visits will spark an interest in the work of the Chrysalis School and that we can form mutually beneficial relationships with schools in other countries.
